How America Will Reap Benefits From Russian-Ukraine War?

On 24th February 2022, Russia and Ukraine conflict heated up again and metamorphosed into a mega roil, accelerating the decision tables of NATO and many countries. Since the day, peers all around the globe are getting ‘Breaking News of Russia-Ukraine War’ every hour. The ‘what ifs’, ‘why now’ and ‘how to’ questions are pulling up the corroded strings and freshening up the long-left history once again.

In December 2017, Donald Trump’s administration has approved a plan to export lethal weapons to Ukraine. Though Trump’s plan to work in Russia in the case of Ukraine seemed diluted at this time, the US government earned heavy economic and political profit from this deal. According to RFERL, the US government signed off $47 million sales of 210 Javelin anti-tank missiles, silencers, 37 launchers, .50 calibre weapons, combat shotguns, military scopes, flash suppressors, and artillery parts to Ukraine. The hostilities are on the rise since the day of the approval of sales of lethal defensive weapons, which was previously not the plan though requested by Ukraine then. The Russian-Ukraine war conflict is rolling to further devastating turmoils.

Divided Opinions On Zelenskyy

Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy’s non-diplomatic step to not to retreat from the Russian invasion has surprised the Global masses as well as Russia’s President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. The latter part can only be confirmed by Vladimir Putin himself as it can be different as well.

Zelenskyy won the Presidential campaign in June 2019 and since then he is seeking NATO’s support after Putin’s constant warnings and crystal-clear consequences and reasons.

In his campaign, he stated ‘no legalization of weapons’, which he now openly broke by allotting arms to the civilians. (It can be seen as an act of Patriotism as well.)

Zelenskyy has seen 2014s heated conflict between Ukraine and Russia and is still spearheaded by Uncle Sam and EU nations.

He also wrapped himself in a controversial money laundering business in such a short period of time.

Giving access to artilleries or weapons to civilians may cause unsalvageable loss during the conflict. The same may trigger the clear breakage of the Geneva convention treaty from the side of Russia as it will become extremely difficult to differentiate between the military and the civilians. The people might not know the political deepness and darkness but surely fight till their last breath for their country and beloveds.

Increase In Natural Gas Exports Amidst Russia Ukraine War

Russia is one of the biggest mines of Earth, which provides crude oil, petroleum products and natural gas to other countries of 2,35,581 Million USD. The mentioned products above are the top three exports of the country among many.

The European Nations top the list of importers from Russia, which is then followed by China and the US. You might be wondering how such a huge amount of gas is transported and delivered to distant countries. Well, this magic of transporting natural gas is done with a pipeline through Ukraine under Nord Stream 1.

The line is strategically stretched through the Baltic Sea to the ends of Germany with a vast pipeline length of 750 miles. Due to the aggressive retaliation of Russia against Ukraine regarding its alleged safety, the pressure has been on Germany’s E.ON (Europe’s largest operator of energy networks) to put a halt on Nord Stream 1.

But on 27th February 2022, it clearly denied all those demands, which piqued many people around the world. As of now, the German Government has put a hold on Nord Stream 2 pipeline due to the conflict giving a hard blow to the expected Russian economy.

The additional sanctions on Russia will force EU nations to satiate their fuel demand by exporting fuel from the US, which has swelled in recent years.

SWIFT Sanctions On Russia

However, the SWIFT sanctions have been imposed on Russia, this policy can counter-attack the strength of the US Dollar as well.

It is not the first time that SWIFT has broken its so-called neutral policy of cutting off any particular nation’s bank(s). Due to stringent US pressure and sanction, SWIFT had once cut all strings of financial strings of Iran in 2012 to curb its alleged missile and nuclear deals. And later, after facing a huge blow financially, Iran came on the table with the US, which is now known as the 2015 Iran-nuclear deal. Similarly, the economic sanctions on Russia will directly profit its arch-enemy – the US. The SWIFT sanction will cut off Russia from all the bilateral trades across the world and this is exactly what will profit the US economy.

Beef Up US Dollar Value

The intentionally induced turmoil between two brotherly nations will boost the value of the US dollar and draw in worldwide money.

Regardless of circumstances, every global crisis that the United States has caused in the last two decades has somehow boosted its currency. And now when the EU nations and the UK are no longer secure in the aftermath of the Russia-Ukraine crisis, the US dollar’s value will surely rise, making the US a financial haven.

Increase In Military Aids In Russian Ukraine War

The beleaguered geopolitical conflict between Russia and Ukraine has created a handsome demand for weapons and artilleries, not only for Ukraine but especially for the whole EU nations as the security tension has been created.

Who is the leader of weapon exports?

It has always been the US. Among the top 10 weapon exporters in the World, the top 5 are from America.

Georgia’s Bid To Be EU’s Part

On Wednesday (2nd February 2022), Irakli Kobakhidze, the chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream told reporters, “We call on the EU bodies to make an emergency assessment of our application and grant Georgia the status of an EU candidate country,”. The now ruling party in Taiwan felt strong pressure from the opposition after seeing the impact of Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky who received massive support from European parliamentarians in a non-binding vote suggesting the bloc’s organizations award Ukraine candidate nation status.

The possible reason behind such speed up is the fear of the Kremlin’s attack after Ukraine, say some political observers and researchers.
