What Is SNL About?
Scarlett Johansson SNL moments always leave fans buzzing, especially when her husband Colin Jost steals the spotlight with NSFW jokes. This time the swap jokes were on their baby and her wife’s Vag***. Yes, we all were speechless.
Saturday Night Live (SNL) is a legendary American sketch comedy that first aired on October 11, 1975. SNL is the brainchild of Lorne Michaels and gradually, this variety show becomes a cultural icon. The show is famous for its satirical takes on politics, pop culture, and current events. Its format features comedic sketches, live musical performances, and a rotating lineup of celebrity hosts.
Over the decades, SNL has launched the careers of countless comedians like Eddie Murphy, Jim Belushi, Will Ferrell and more. Currently, Michael Che and Colin Jost co-anchor the “Weekend Update” segment, delivering sharp and witty commentary, where they read each other’s written quips and satires. While SNL hosts change weekly, Che and Jost remain staples, adding modern flair to this traditional American comedy show. SNL Season 10 made Scarlett Johansson SNL appearance a bit more embarassing this time.
Christmas Jokes – Scarlett Johanson SNL With Colin Jost and Michael Che
Colin Jost is no stranger to pushing comedic boundaries, but his latest antics on Saturday Night Live (SNL) 50 hit a new level of roasting. In May this year, this went straight to his wife, Scarlett Johansson, again!
During episode 10 of Season 50 SNL with co-anchor Michael Che, Jost served up a series of punchlines that ranged from audacious to downright jaw-dropping. Yes, Che pushed him but welcomed and decorated all the burnt and hard-hit punches.
Colin started by saying, “I wanna dedicate this next joke to my boo, Scarlett Johansson.” The camera then panned to Scarlett who was seen bracing herself for the greater shock.
“Y’all know Scarlett just celebrated her 40th birthday, which means I’m about to get up out of there!” Colin quipped, barely holding back his own laughter as he stumbled through the joke. The audience roared, and Che, ever the instigator, nudged him to keep going.
After collecting himself, Colin added, “Shiz! Nah, nah. I’m just playin’.” Then he delivered the line that made heads swivel faster than a celebrity red carpet reveal: “We just had a kid together, and y’all ain’t see no pictures of him yet, because he’s Black as hell!” As if on cue, a Photoshopped image of Jost and Johansson cradling a Black baby popped up on the screen. The audience lost it, while backstage, Scarlett reportedly smirked and shook her head – a classic “my-husband’s-a-comedian” moment.
But Jost wasn’t done yet. Picking up the mike again, he unleashed a closer that left the room—and Johansson—stunned.

“Costco has removed their roast beef sandwich from its menu, but I ain’t tripping,” Colin said. “I have been eating roast beef every night since my wife had the kid!”
The last punchline landed like a grenade, leaving the audience in hysterics and Scarlett reportedly wide-eyed backstage gasping, “Oh my god!”
In classic Colin Jost fashion, he went for one final twist, delivering a hilariously self-deprecating (and eyebrow-raising) disclaimer: “Nah, nah, I just playin’ baby. You know I don’t go downtown! Shiz! That’s gay as hell!”
The bit might’ve been a roast beef sandwich too far, especially when you have the image right in front of you on the screen, but it was vintage Jost. Pushing limits, poking fun at himself and his boo!
Scarlett may have grimaced, but no doubt she knew what she signed up for.
How Did Scarlett Johanson Meet Colin Jost?
Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost first crossed paths in 2006 on the set of Saturday Night Live. This time, Johansson was hosting and Jost was a new comedy sketch writer. Their professional acquaintance slowly brewed into something romantic and after a decade, in 2017, they sealed their relationship. He once revealed, “She claims that she remembers thinking I was ‘cute,’ but I know what I looked like and that’s not the word I would have used. (‘Shaggy’ would have been generous. ‘Slovenly,’ more accurate).”

After two years of dating, they announced their engagement in May 2019. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony on October 29, 2020, at their home in Palisades, New York.
Do Scarlett Johanson and Colin have children?
They welcomed their first child together, their son, Cosmo, in August 2021. Johansson also has a daughter, Rose Dorothy, from a previous marriage. In short, Colin’s and Scarlett’s relationship is rooted in a shared history at SNL when both were in their 20s and took time to slowly brew their feelings. And this time, the Scarlett Johansson SNL appearance hit a bit hard than ever expected by SNL’s fans.
